We have linked our history topic, "The Aztecs", to literacy and we have written newspaper articles on an Aztec human sacrifice.

Hi there my honey bunnies!
I´ve finally found the time to write you all a short message-Begoña keeps me VERY busy, especially at four o´clock in the morning! I wanted to say thank you all for your lovely letters and wishes. A special thank you to Angela for the beautiful dress, Marina for the chocolates, model hospital and cuddly toy and to Sofia for visiting me in Cruz Roja. I´ll be able to drive soon and I´ll be up to school to see you and show you the baby. I´m sure you´re working hard for Mr. Carter and showing him what a great class you are. Miss you all lots! We have read the book "The Iron Man" by Ted Hughes and each of us has made our own "Iron Man" book with all our work. Here are some examples of summarising, predicting, story boards, author fact files, story endings, monster descriptions, menus and much more.

The Worst...I ever... *class shared poetry

In 5.2 we've been reading "Charlotte's Web". Avery, Fern's brother has just fallen on a rotten goose egg. This has made us think about all the most horrible things we have smelt, tasted, seen touched and heard. Using our whiteboards, we have written a class poem. We hope you like it.

Mystic Roses

We´ve been exploring diagonals. A "Mystic Rose" is formed when all the diagonals in a dodecagon are connected by straight lines.
